Our Board of Directors consists of our founders, operational leads and advisers to and key supporters of Conservatives in the City.

Ed McGuinness

Ed McGuinness is the President, Chairman and founding member of Conservatives in the City. He is an ex British Army officer who now works for a major financial institution in London. Ed has been a member of the Conservative Party for a number of years, a former association chairman in Islington and Parliamentary candidate in Hornsey and Wood Green in the 2019 General election.

Seena Shah

Seena joined Harland & Wolff as Head of Marketing & Communications in February 2020, where she is growing and leading the department for the group. She has built an award-winning marketing & communications career spanning over 10 years. In December 2019, Seena stood as a parliamentary candidate for the Conservative Party in the constituency of Brentford & Isleworth, having previously stood for the Party twice before. Seena is a life-long Arsenal FC fan, when she isn’t cheering on her team, she can be found at music gigs and food festivals.

Nathaniel Ogunniyi

Nathaniel is a Public Affairs Consultant at FTI Consulting, with a strong interest in trade and financial services. He has worked in politics, and the City. At university, he served the Southampton Students Union as a trustee, part of a board managing £6 million in revenue and representing 25,000 students. Holding this role during the pandemic, he represented student views and worked to preserve the quality of education received by students. Nathaniel holds a B.A. from the University of Southampton in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Sean Taylor

Sean has worked in the financial services industry in both the Investment banking world and Wealth Management. Before financial services, he served as an Officer in the British Army in a variety of locations and roles. Sean is a Director at Canaccord Genuity Wealth and leads a team of specialists and he also holds trustee & advisory board positions at several charities and was also recognised by a Prime Minister’s ‘Points of Light’ Award in 2020. Sean is widely networked and commentates regularly on the City & macro events. In his spare time he enjoys the countryside, motorsport and a very unruly Labrador called Daisy.
